I don't have word, powerpoint or excel. what do i download?

You can download a TRIAL version of Office 2003 which is valid for 30 days
(AFAIR). Go here:

If you only need to read them, download "word viewer" and so from
download.microsoft.com.

If you just want to view files created in Word, PowerPoint, or Excel, you
can download the viewers at:
