After furious head scratching, Lawrence Garvin (MVP) asked:
| a CHECK REGISTER is a simple transaction log that lists check number,
| payee, check amount, and current balance after the check is written.
|
| I'm curious, Milly, where you get your information about check
| registers requiring specific information only available from the bank.
|
| The poster said nothing about printing CHECKS, only about providing
| the check REGISTER, and while the offer is kind and thoughtful, and
| though I doubt it's going to have much interest (and the attachment
| didn't post anyway), there's absolutely nothing wrong with the
| concept of a "General Check Register Form" for use by individuals or
| businesses.

| || Check registers require specific information available only from the
|| bank in
|| question and is the reason that checks must be ordered using the
|| account holder's account information to complete. I doubt that your
|| register would
|| be of help to anyone trying to print checks or track them.

||
||| Since there is no way of submitting an Office template to Microsoft
||| I decide to post it here. I made it with Word 2003 and it is meant
||| to be printed out and put
||| into a binder as a general Check Register. Let me know if you want
