After furious head scratching, Lawrence Garvin (MVP) asked:

| the check REGISTER, and while the offer is kind and thoughtful, and
| though I doubt it's going to have much interest (and the attachment
| didn't post anyway), there's absolutely nothing wrong with the
| concept of a "General Check Register Form" for use by individuals or
| businesses.
