I have seen where pages have been "locked"

In that I mean you could not copy and paste anything
including any words. How can this be done?

They're using a javascript "no right click" script.
However, they really don't work.
They just "appear" to work, and are not worth the time you waste setting them up.

IE has a bug that can prevent you from copying text on the page. There's a
nasty workaround if you need it.

File > Save as in the IE toolbar will circumvent it also.
As will holding the shift key when you right click and then releasing the shift key.
( or is it the Control key )

There's also a trick about entering javascript:void in the address bar and clicking go. ( or
something along that line )
