I am tring to make a database do what my boss found on the web, and not real
sure how to get started I am new to Access and have never build a database
before... Here is the site that my boss showed me and asked me if I could
make something like this for our cable contracting company...
http://www.blueclaw-db.com/asset_inv...king_cable.htm

Any help or direction or a good temp. that I could go by would be great or
just help with this would be great..

Thanks for your time in this matter.

HTTP 404 Not Found from your link.

If this is a professionally designed web site, there's a *lot* more to it
than just a database ;-)

As you say you've never designed a database before, you can start your
studies by Googling "relational database design" and "relational theory".

Here are 4 learning curves to consider when designing/building an
application ... you may have already surmounted some of them ...

1. Relational database design & normalization
2. Access tips/tricks (you did say "new to Access", so this is a steep
curve)
3. Graphic user interface design (what good is it if no one knows how to use
it?)
4. Application development

Did your boss also give you a budget and a timeframe? Remember, "you can
have it good, fast, cheap ... pick TWO!!"

Good luck!

The link is broken (I doubt that the ... is actually part of the name), and
your boss is probably being unreasonable.
