Hi PE,
It depends.

When all tasks have been reset to 0% done, and there are no tasks with
constraints, it is enough to change the project start date:
Project - Project Information - Project Start date.

When you DO have constraints in the project you will need to run
Adjust_Dates.
Up till Project 2000 this was delivered as a macro (Tools, Macro,Macros...)
In more recent versions it is an add-on available through the Analysis
toolbar (Tools,Customize, toolbars, etc.)

And when there are tasks that are NOT 0% finished you should FIRST set them
to 0% finished.

Hi PELangord,

In addition to the options suggested by Dr. Van den Bergh, you can create a
template file based upon an existing project file. Choose File > Save As and
change the file type to Template. In the dialog box that appears, you may
omit tracking data (actuals) as well as resource cost information. To then
use that template, choose File > New (in the menu) and select the template
you created. You will still need to change the Project Start date through
Project > Project Information or the adjust date macro.

If you are using Project 2002 or Project 2003 there is also an option in the
New Project pane (File > New in menu) to base a project on an existing
project.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Jan,

Whew! I was surprised to see a new name with quite an impressive bit of
knowledge about MS Project! Thanks for the clarification and good to know
there's a doctor in the house ;-)

Best,
Julie
