ID Cards - How to print different pictures on one page?

We need to be able to print multiple id cards on one page that are business
card size. The template is the same, i know i can use mail merge to pull in
each of their names and titles, however, a picture has to be added as well.
I can't figure out if I can do that. Please advise.

What version Publisher? What program are you using as a data source?

If you are using 2003 or 2007 you can setup your page as a catalog merge. One
down and one across if you use a business card template.
Add the pictures to your data. In the data field type the picture name plus the
format (.jpg for example). I have discovered the easiest way to do the merge is
to have the data base and pictures in the same folder. This eliminates the need
to type a path in the picture field. Publisher will resize the pictures
automatically.

Publisher 2003 is the version. I was using Excel as the data source program.
The pictures are what are throwing me off. The picture file name is Justin
Depew.jpg. The picture is saved in the same folder as the excel sheet. But
the picture isn't being imported into the publisher?

Yeah that worked! Ok, now hopefully my last hurdle is this. I want to print
the id cards. I only need one copy of each ID card, but I want to print them
all on one page. How do i tell Publisher to do that? It keeps creating a
whole page with 10 of them for each person.

In Publisher 2007, select Multiple pages per sheet. In 2003 you may get the same
information on each card, this is a Publisher bug. Print a test, there is an
option to do this in the print dialog.
