Immortal Messages, Can't Delete

I am using Entourage 2004 Student edition and I have not been able to
delete some messages from my IMAP account. They do not delete nor are
they able to be moved from my Inbox to any other folder.
Additionally, all the content of these emails is missing. I've
checked and rebuilt the database, it just seems these message headings
are stuck, though I can label them as junk, which does no good. Any
suggestions on how to get rid of these messages?

Try control-clicking the folder and choosing "Repair Message List"

I experienced this same problem three times yesterday (my second day of
Entourage use). The only workaround I've found is to delete the account and
start over. In my case at least, when this happens it is when the most
recent e-mail is identified by Entourage as junk: it copies the e-mail to
the Junk folder, but doesn't delete the message from the Inbox, nor will it
allow anyone else to.

I had the same problem. But if you rebuild the database by pressing down ALT
and start Entourage 2004 the problem gets solved.
