importing a condensed image

When using word as the PowerPoint editor and importing the
image which is a condensed logo the image does not appear
as condensed but is re-formatted to normal size - why does
it do this and how do I get round this?

Andrew,

Sorry, mate, but I can't follow what is going on. Are you importing
PowerPoint images into Word? How are you doing this? Could it be some auto
format is changing your image size?

Maybe try Tools| Options| Autoformat as you type| and turn off Automatic
layout for inserted objects.
