importing data and images at the same time

I need to import headline from Excel into PPT, which I tried and it works by
doing a tab delineation in Word. I have an image for each headline also. I
have a spreadsheet of 14 columns of which I only want to import two of the
columns in PPT (without having to create a separate Word tab delineated doc.
At the same time, I'd like to import the image. I'm thinking there must be
a function in Excel to map to an image file or there is a way to set up the
Excel file so that PPT can read the image. Either way, I've tried and can't
figure it out.

Hi Rhonda,
You can have a look at www.take-off.as/datapoint to import pictures and
excel information automatically. Otherwise you will have to use some other
mechanisms like VBA.
