Can someone please explain how to import text from MS
Word to MS Publisher? Somehow I need to get my book
manuscript text into "film ready disk" format for
commercial production. Tks!

Have you tried the "Import Word Document" option under the "File" menu

Your printer should be able to handle Word files as easily as Publisher
files.

So if all the work has been done in Word and if you are pleased with the way
it looks, I think I'd stock with Word.

If, on the otherr hand, you have some additional work to do on it, such as
more complex formatting ...

Save as RTF from Word and then import the RTF file.
