How do you cut and past photos into Publisher 2003 without them coming in
huge rather than the original size? This is an irritating feature that was
not present in Publisher 2000.

You sure you know the original size? They go on the document page "as is".
Thereafter you can resize it on the page.

yes, I arrange the photo as a size in a photo program and then cut and paste;
it always brings it in as a full size page rather than the size I have on my
screen.
