When Project is started for the first time, it is not apparent that the
project Start time can be adjusted. It is easy to think you are scheduling
correctly when the project is using a default start time of 8:00 am. If the
default Date format was Date/Time, not just Date, it would be obvious that
times need to be set within a project and easy to see where there is a
problem - e.g. if the Calendar options are changed with an existing project,
or where users have not realised that the Standard calendar is in use.

Hi Dave,

I agree it would be useful. Setting the default date format to one showing
date and time (Tools> Options, View tab) is part of the checklist that I
recommend all users follow.
