inserting a holiday

can anyone advise how I can insert a non working period say 1 week into a
project.
eg everything stops for one week. Using the existing facility only seems to
adjust some tasks but not others.
Ideally I would like to show a blank week can this be done and if so how?

Hi,

"The existing facility"??
Change working time for the project calendar.
That will automatically also change the working time for resources whose
calendar is derived from the same base calendar as the project calendar.

If there are task calendars involved, or resources whose calendar is derived
from a digfferent base calendar, you have to change these base calendars as
well.
