Hi
Im having problems with my computer, I cannot seem to
open certain webpages or programs because it says I
need internet explorer 6, but I do have it.
Anyways, I am gonna do the system restore and I wanna
know whether if Im gonna be able to reinstall Microsoft
Office and Norton Internet Security without having any
problems, like with the product ID key. Thanks

Windows System Restore only restores system files so it does not effect
Office or other application files. However, if you restore prior to the
date the application were installed, you will lose the registry data and
will need to reinstall.

If you are referring to an OEM system restore CD or Partition and the OEM
system restore formats you drives, then you will need to reinstall all
applications.

If you reinstall Office, you will need the product key and a qualifying
product {if required originally}.

However, I suggest you post your problem {with perhaps a few more details
such as specific error message not included here} to a Internet Explorer
newsgroup such as: microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser or a
newsgroup for your versions of Windows. There are ways to repair/reinstall
Internet Explorer 6.
