Installation Steps!!!

Hello,

I want to install a EPM solution Over internet scenario.
Where Single machine is install with

Windows 2003 Standard Server
IIS6
Mssql 2000 with SP3
Mssql Analysis Service With SP3
Sharepoint service 2.0
project server 2003
project professinal 2003

On local it get all feautures.(portfolio analyzer,Etc)
But over the internet it falied.
I have give full right to check the permission but still it failed.
I tried with ip address.
It worked with remote desktop web connection.

Please guide me if i want to connect this for dialup and want to use
portfolio analyzer.
I tried giving all right to the user who login system,sql as well as
projectserver(full admin right).
But still it failed.

In order to expose Analysis Services views across the Internet, you must be
using SQL Enterprise Edition and perform additional setup work which you can
find in the Microsoft KB.

Hello Sandeep,

Getting the portfolio analyzer views to work in a extranet enviroment is
quite tricky. As gary said, you need sql analysis services 2000 enterprise
edition, and you need to the stuff in the kb. However, when you build your
views you need to specify their data sources as http://servername instead of
just "servername". You do this in the pivot-table's data sources option.

the first one is for project 2002, but the steps are very similar to project
2003.
