I have an InfoPath template that has managed code, is running in full trust
mode, and is digitally signed. I can publish it to a network location and
all of our machines can access the form and submit with no security warnings.
Now we want to be able to install the form on each machine via MSI file. I
published the template as an installable form template and made sure that the
security level was set to Full Trust. When I install the MSI on a machine
and open an xml file with the location of the template I get the following
error.
Form template: file///C:\InfoPathTemplates\ShipmentTemplate.xsn
The form template is trying to access files and settings on your computer.
InfoPath cannot grant access to these files and settings because the form
template is not fully trusted. For a form to run with full trust, it must be
installed or digitally signed with a certificate.
I shouldn't be getting this error because the form is set to Full Trust and
it is installed on the machine. I've tried it with and without signing it
with a certificate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael
