intuitive address entering in Outlook

On my previous computer - after I entered an email address
once - next time outlook would intuitively enter it after
I entered the first three letters.

With my new computer I have to enter the whole address
every time.

Can I change some settings for the address to enter
intuitively?

Tools/Options/Prefrences/EMail/Advanced........tick 'name checking'
However the name checking 'file cache' has to be used for a while, before it
functions correctly

In outlook express you can do this via Tools-Options-send, then tick the box
for auto complete of email addresses.

In outlook Tools-Options-Preferences-Email Options-Advanced offers an option
to check if names are in the address book but I do not think you can auto
complete.
