invoice database feature is broke and needs fixing

The ivoice program imbedded in Excel will create a record in a file named
invdb.xls. I figured out the feature and found the file. It is rather
inccessible (program files\microsoft office\office\library), so I moved the
file and renamed it. Excel couldn't find the file, so I moved it back to its
original location and gave it back its original name. The feature still
doesn't work - I get a message that the file could not be found. Is there a
way to restore the feature? If so, is there a way to make it more accessible,
i.e. change the pathway, or a desktop icon?
