Is there any way to show a moved milestone?

I want to show my original milestone and then if the milestone is moved, I
want to show that on the gantt also. For example, the original milestone
marker would be a diamond on Sept 1. If the milestone is moved, is would show
the milestone marker on Sept 1 and then another on Oct 1 for example.

Hi,

If you save a baseline before tracking, the Tracking Gantt shows yoiy
exactly that.

Hi Jan.

We are not recommending baselining the schedule. However, folks do want to
see if a milestone has moved and track the original date. Any other ideas?
Someone mentioned putting multiple milestone tasks but I'm not sure that is
the best solution.

Why would you NOT baseline the schedule? That seems absurd given what you
want to do.

Why are you not recommending baseliniing? No offense intended, but that
makes no sense. Baselining has absolutely no effect on the scheduling
mechanisms whatsoever nor does it limit the flexibility of the plan in any
way. It merely saves a snapshot of the plan as of the moment you saved the
baseline so you can compare any changes in the plan made at some later date
back to what it was on the baseline date.
