It won't allow me to change Saturday to a work-day?

I changed Saturday to a non-default working time, but once I save it, it goes
back to showing it as a non-working day. How can I ensure that Satruday stays
as a working day once I try to save it.

Hi Suliman,

Are you a Project Server user?
If yes, please post on the Server Newsgroup
If no, when you select the header for Saturday oin the Project Calendar, and
click nonworking time, it will show as nondefault working time and stay so
even after saving.

No, I am not on Project Server. I did change Saturday to a non-default
working time and clicked save. However, after the save completes, it goes
back to showing Saturday as a non-working time. I don't know if this will
affect it, but the project I am trying to do this with is a Master Project
file that contains other projects embedded in it. Do I have to adjust all
those other "sub-projects" to have Saturday as a non-default work day in
order for the change to stay once I try to save the master file?

Hi,

A master project is just a shell which has links to the (sub)projects.
So each subproject can have, and has, its own calendar.
You can copy a customized calendar as follows
Open both projects (f.i. the maser and a sub
Tools, Organizer, calendars
Copy "standard" from the master into the sub
etc.
This way you do not have to remake the calendars.
