Leveling by id

I have setup a number of projects in MSP as summary tasks and underlying
tasks. I need to level the resources based on the order the tasks are shown
in MSP however when I level using id MSP moves some of the higher id tasks
before the tasks with a lower id. I don't understand this behaviour as it is
wrond. Has anyone a solution to this problem?

Milesb,

The ID is not the only one of the parameters which intefer in the levelling.
There are several others parameters, such as the slack for example. The
leveling will move first a task which has a comfortable slack.

I have experienced this also.
You can also use "Piority" (Add column Priority) to level. Basically 999 is
the highest priority and 1 is the lowest. If you use 1000, you're telling MSP
not to level. I am assuming you have already assigned resources and set your
max units.
