Links in Word 2003

Tom

I have created a folder of files that have a number of links between them
that need to be moved around to a number of users' computers and when I copy
and paste the whole folder to their computer, some of the links update with
the new location while other links in the same file do not update. It seems
like most of the documents with only a few links update ok, but the one file
with like 15-20 links only like half of the links update and then it gives me
the message that it can't open two files with the same name. Please advise
on how to set up the links so that they will update to the new location
everytime the folder is moved. Thanks

"Relative" links in Word is always a touchy kind of thing. There are a number of
possible techniques, but in order to think this through we need to know exactly
what kind of links are involved. Are all of these links between Word documents
(IncludeText fields)? Or is something else (graphics, for example) involved?
