"The folder ....... isnt accessable. The folder may be locateed in an
unavailable location, protected with a password, or the filename containts a
/ or \."

I get the above error when trying to save any office file (ex.word or excel)
to a network shared drive. Other pc's can save it to that drive out of word
and excel just fine. I can save other files (ex.notpad) just fine.

Another little wierd thing is that I can save the excel file to the network
drive if I let excel name it. If I go to save as and change the file name in
anyway it gives me the error.

If I go to the network drive through explorer I can add, delete, rename
create folders.... just fine. So I have full rights to the folders I just
having the problem in Office products.

Any help would be apretiated.

If you installed Windows XP update KB885250 "MS05-011: Vulnerability in
server message block could allow remote code execution", try
uninstalling KB885250 in Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.
