Locking text over an image

Hi-
I am attemping to create a pyramid chart with 4 pieces. Each piece has a
word over the pyramid piece. My question is, is there any way I can lock the
text over the image to allow them to appear at the sametime, without a delay?
I do not want the text to show up half a second after the image does.

Click the piece of the pyramid, then ctrl+click the text box
right click and go to grouping in the context menu.
click group. Your all set. Now animate to your hearts content.

Which version of PPT are you using?

Is your pyramid created with PPT's autoshapes, or with the diagram
tool (where you click Insert|Diagram or click the icon on the slide to
insert a diagram)?
