Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I used to move cell by cell with arrow keys.
Today in excel, the arrows keys are moving the workbook. Am I doing something wrong? thanks.

What kind of computer and keyboard are you using? Which arrow keys, the
ones on the numeric keypad? Check for scrl lock in the lowre right of
the Excel window. Check to see if Num Lock is on.

Bob, thanks.
I'm on new imac. Using the older G5 Keyboard. Arrows are the one on the right below home/end.

THE Cap lock is off (you said number lock, same as Cap lock?)
Scrl Lock in lower right of Excel, I don't see it, not sure what that is.

No Caps Lock is NOT the same as Num Lock. Num Lock on the numeric pad
fixes the pad to numeric keys vs. the movement keys that you are seeing.

Thanks Bob,
I just looked hard. Only instance I see of LOCK, is caps lock.
I could take a photo of the keyoard and screenshot it here if you like.

Settle, you two: he probably doesn't HAVE a NumLock key.

Kevs: If you have a newer Apple Aluminium Keyboard with a number pad to the
right, there is a key marked "Clear" at the top left corner of the number
pad.

That's where the NumLock key would be, if you had one.

On modern Mac Keyboards, you do not have a NumLock key, your Number Pad is
fixed into "Numbers" all the time. If you run Windows software, that will
recognise the Clear key as the NumLock key.

You don't have a Scroll Lock key either. In Excel 2004, the Scroll Lock key
is F14 or Function + F14, depending on how you have set up your keyboard.

On the status bar at the bottom of the Excel window, there is a little
button labelled "SCRL". It will glow green if Scroll Lock is on.

Hope this helps

who is fussing. I just thought if I could see the actual Keyboard, I
could point out where it is.
