Just accidentally saved a file over one I'd worked on for weeks. Any chance

Did you ever e-mail a copy of the old file to someone? Maybe there's a
chance to retrieve some of it there.

About as much chance as a snowball in... But, if you have not cleaned out your
temporary folder in quite some time, you might get lucky and find a .tmp file
that might be the old version of your presentation. Just a matter of going
through them and seeing if PowerPoint can open any of the files around the same
size as your presentation. Good Luck.
