Low quality PDF image when publishing

I have a PDF image of about 300 KB. When I publish the image on my website
and then view through IE the quality is lower than the quality when I view
the image on it's own. The memory of the image when published is still 300KB

Is there a reason for this and is there a way I can improve the image
quality in IE.

Rich,
Nothing at all. The thing to keep in mind is that a PDF itself is
not an image, it is a document that can contain images. The PDF creator can
be set to compress images within the document by varyous means. FP and IE
have no settings that would affect the PDF file itself, only the Adobe
Acrobat Reader's settings affect the quality. Something to look into though,
is to make sure that the document is displaying at 100%. Often, Acrobat will
open a PDF at a higher zoom, which can make the image look more grainy since
it's all the pixels are magnified.

Hope this helps,
