Macros on Quick Access Toolbar

In V2003, I was taught to create macros using the suffix .MAIN. This way, I
could copy the macros individually to another template or outside source.
Though the .MAIN macros will work in V2007 if I run them from the macro menu,
they won't run if I place them on the Quick Access Toolbar. If I create the
same macro without the suffix, I can then place it on the toolbar and it runs.

But if I want to transfer just some of my macros elsewhere, I no longer have
that choice (without the .MAIN suffix). I can only see all the macros under
"NewMacros" in the Organizer.

Is there a way to create macros in 2007 and 1) have them run from the quick
access toolbar and 2) see them individually in the Organizer for transfer?

Please bear in mind when you reply that I am not a macro programmer and
don't understand VBA. My macros are very simple - they basically fetch a
document, or change margins or something very basic like that - I just record
keystrokes. So hopefully you can keep your answer simple!

Thanks.
