Making Outlook start with bootup

I would like Outlook to start automatically when I boot up, using XP. So
far, my normal trips have not worked, so I am hoping someone here will have
some suggestions.

Have you added a shortcut to Outlook into your Startup folder?

Drag the Outlook icon to your Startup folder.
