Managing fonts

Jaylee

This is not exactly a Publisher-question, but I do use Publisher to
create birthday-cards etc. for my co-workers and I like to use lot's
of different fonts so each card (and enveloppe) is more or less
unique.
However, I can't install all the fonts I have because then my pc
wouldn't run properly anymore.
Does anyone have experience with a good and flexible
font-managingprogram (which preferably doesn't cost too much: I'm
Dutch ;-) ).

TIA
Jaylee

Thanks for the warning, MS Publisher.
I use Win98 at the office and WinXP at home. Do you know of any
alternative for XP?

Jaylee?

PS. Why do you never (or hardly ever) quote?

I have used FontSmart for years, never had problems. It is easy to use when one wants
fonts on the fly. Free is a good price.

No need to quote as the posts should run consecutively. I am an
environmentalist and don't like to be greedy and take excessive bandwidth
and waste electrons.

This is a great freeware font utility for doing what you want.

But just think how many electrons are sat at the dole queue waiting for work
because of you!

Sorry, I have been away for Christmas.
Thank you all for your reaction, I'll see wether I can find Fontsmart
3.1 somewhere.

The site given offers FontSmart version 1.5. What about version 3.1 for
Windows XP?
