Hi,
I have just copied my pst files from one WinXP pro pc with
Office 2000 to another pc with Win2000Pro and Office 2000.

However when I access the pst file from Outlook, I cannot
view the message body. I can however see part of the
contents with the preview option and I can also see the
attachemnts.

Can anybody help?
thks

import = bad. it loses views and custom forms and screws up archiving.

the os does not affect the pst. the version of IE can affect the view of
HTML messages - there is a known issue when some don't render properly with
certain builds of IE. Another possible cause is the version of Outlook and
editor that created the messages.

I wasn't aware a .pst worked "as is" in all operating systems.

The PST's format is the same for Office 97 through Office XP. With Office
2003, Outlook has a new PST format to eliminate the 2 Gb limit, but it can
also use the old PST format.
