I have an issue with Office 2000 and have tried to call
Microsoft for support. In order to get support, they
want to charge me a $35 fee.
Has anyone else had this issue...

I am trying to get help to resolve an install issue where
I am getting an error 2755 and the instructions say go to
the Installer Folder.... Where is it?

Why can I not get support from Microsoft?

You can';t get support free because your program is old as far as Microsoft
sees it.

What is the issue lay it out here many people will try to help.

My first suggestion is uninstall it completely. By that I mean use
add/remove to do the basic uninstall then go into windows explorer and
delete the rest of the directory where Office resides and start over again.

I further suggest to remove the registry info but most people including me
are antsy about going into the registry. So if you place the program into
the dame directory location you should have no trouble with it.

Of course your issue may be completely different and I've een of no help at
all. If not let us know what the problem is.

Good luck.

You meant, why can't you get FREE support from Microsoft, no?

Is this an installation issue? If it is, then the support for installation
is free. See the support page that explains all of the support types and
charges:
