Missing DLL file prevents me using PST Files?

Carl Jarvis

Hello - I posted on here a while ago asking for help as following a company
merger I cannot use PST files in Outlook 2000 (Windows NT machine).

I have been told that work have removed a DLL file which is causing this.

Do any of you have experience of this? If so any idea what DLL file I need
to add back in?

Many thanks,

Carl.

Do you mean that the corporate IT removed the DLL so you can't use PSTs? Do
they have a good reason for this?

I dont know what their reason is

We used to have them - i still have my pst file but I cannot use it / view
it.

A helpdesk guy let it slip that its a missing dll.

I am prepared to take the risk of putting it on myself and risking the wrath
of IT or whoever finds out ;o)

If you know, please tell!

Cheers,

Carl.

I think it's probably PSTPRX.DLL. I don't have OL2000 around any longer to
check though

ITS FIXED!!!

I bullied the file out of the IT guy - if you have a similar problem you may
need to add MAPISVC.INF into tthe Windows NT Service 32 folder!

Thanks to all who tried to help ;o)

Carl.
