Missing Images when sending a publisher email

SCquestions

This just started. I have created an email newsletter to send out to
customers. I have done this many times. Today when I created the newsletter
and sent it to a second email as a test, all of the pictures in the document
were removed from the document, but they were attached to the email as
individual file attachments. What is going on????

Your security settings are probably set too high in the second e-mail
client.

Is your e-mail a Publisher document? If so, I would be very surprised that
all recipients have Publsher installed on their computer. Besides Publisher
files are large. I suggest that you create a pdf and send that as an
attachment.

Or read this: http://www.microsoftfrontpage.com/usingfp/newsletters/ If you
don't have FrontPage, there is an excellent open source program called Nvu
that will do the same for you. http://www.nvu.com

Best of luck to you.

Thank you, but that did not work either.

In Publisher, you can save a document as a publisher file. When you have
the document open > File > Send Email > Send this page as Message.

This allows you to embed the page in an email and the recipients do not have
to have Publisher on their computer.
I do not have a .pdf converter, so if I need anything I usually do things in
Photoshop and save it as a .pdf. But with this, you can put a simple link
address in, but also, not as easy to drop in a hyperlink like in Publisher.
So....anyone else know why this might dropping the images now???
