Missing 'New Office Document' on start menu

Geoff

Hi

I uninstalled the Publisher component of Office 2000 (I am running XP) and
discovered that the New Office Document icon on the start menu was missing.
How do I get it back? What is the location of the file?

Hi Geoff

Here I am, replying to my own post, but I did find the answer.

There is a shortcut in:

C:\Program File\Microsoft Office\Office\Shortcut Bar\Office

to New Office Document.

When that is run, it begins the Office 2000 install, asks for the CD and
there it is. I just dragged the icon to my Start button.

Great.

Cheers
