Missing Office Assistant

I recently installed Office 2003 and lost my Office Assistant. Every time I
open Word it says to run set-up in maintenance mode. I ran set-up in repair
mode and also ran detect and repair. I can't find maintenance mode. How do
I get the assistant back as the pop-up dialog boxes are driving me crazy?
