Missing toolbars-- tried everything!

Hello-

The only toolbar that shows up when I open a database (after importing the
data) is the menu toolbar, containing file/window/help. The only thing that
appears is the soil reports window. After closing the window, I'm unable to
look at anything in the database.

I tried following the advice given to similar problems (CTRL+G-- which
didn't have anything come up to allow me to enter in the code; and resetting
the menu bar back to it's original settings), but nothing has worked. What's
weird is that Access has worked properly in the past, the first few times I
tried using it. But for some reason now it's not letting me bring up the
Database toolbar-- what I need to make queries/export to an excel file. I
can't even right click on the menu bar. Nothing happens.

I'm working with Office 2002.

Any advice would be much appreciated!!

Thank you,

Kate

Unfortunately there's no view menu. All that shows is file (close, search,
exit), window (how to arrange the windows) and help. The only way I can look
at preferences for the Menu bar is to click on the "Add/Remove buttons," but
that only works on two of the computers that have the Adobe PDF toolbar
showing.

Really, the menu bar gives me very few options of doing anything but closing
the program.
