Modifying baseline work without reverting current planned work

I am managing a plan with many tasks and resources. I have a few problems in
my baseline that I need to correct. Specifically I am trying to modify the
amount of baseline work for several tasks.

Is it possible to directly modify the work in the baseline? I am trying to
avoid the tedium of modifying the current work, updating the baseline, then
returning the current work to its pervious value. I would like to just change
the baseline work, while leaving the current planned work unchanged.

Any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks very much!

Hi turner56 ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You can overtype the individual figures to change the baseline as you wish.
However, I wouldn't recommend this as you will lose the original plan. Have
you thought of saving an interim plan? Tools/Tracking/Baseline...

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
