Move software to a new computer

How do I move the Office suite to a new computer - do I
uninstall on current and reinstall - what about the
product key

You'll need to install it again indeed with the product key that shipped
with the producted. Whether you need to uninstall the product on the other
machine depends on how many licenses you've got ;-)
