We are replacing computers and discarding the old one, how do we re-install
and re-regitster the Office software w/Microsoft?

Before answering that question, I have one for you. Did the Office software
come with your old computers or did you buy it separately. (The answer to
your question changes depending on your answer to my question.)

If the software came preinstalled it is OEM and can not be installed on
another computer....

If the software was purchased separately then install on the new computer
and if unable to activate over the internet use the Phone Option....
