moving the note pane

I received a powerpoint slide from a friend. When opened up, the note pane
appears on the right. How can I move it back to the left of the screen? Have
tried many ways, it just doesnt work. Many thanks.

In my PowerPoint, the notes pane is at the bottom. Are you talking about the
task pane? If so, that is caused by the original language of the
presentation. I assume it was created on either a Hebrew or an Arabic
version of PowerPoint, which use right-to-left writing. Copying the slides
to a presentation in your language should help.

Thanks for the reply.

Not sure how it is called. I m referring to the pane that consists of mini
individual slides where one can also record the contents (notes) of the
slides.
