Question
I would need to create a project schedule with duration but I dont want
specific date interval. Like the Gant chart should say two weeks but not from
when to when? If anyone could answer this help would be appreciative

Hi,

This is how Project Works.
Also Insert Late Sart and Late Finish Columns and you will see.
You can also crate Bars indicatin Late Finish f.i.

Anand,
Over the years a few users have asked a similar question, most often
because they want to create a generic schedule that does not yet have a
fixed start date (i.e. a conceptual schedule). Unfortunately, like Jan
said, Project is specific when it schedules and tasks will always have a
start and finish date. However Project also has a utility on the
Analysis toolbar, called "Adjust Dates" that can revise all dates based
on a new start date once the conceptual schedule is "nailed down".

If you don't want the Start and Finish fields to show, remove them from
the view table or hide them. And if you want the duration to show on the
actual Gantt bar, go to Format/Bar Styles and add the Duration field to
a location in or around designated bars.

Hope this helps.
