ms publisher won't recognize my printers

I have several printers installed on my pc, but in publisher, it says there
are no printers installed on the system and I cannot preview or print from
publisher. I can print from everywhere else.

Are the printers installed by Windows or by a batch script at logon?
There is a known issue with Publisher using printers mapped using an
older unsupported method of mapping printers at logon.

I don't know. We have two network printers. It worked in the past, but just
recently when I accessed a new publisher document that had been sent to me, I
could not print - and when I access our old publisher documents that we had
printed in the past, it gives me the same message. I can go into page setup
and it allows me to select any of our printers, but when I hit print, it
gives me the message that there are no printers installed on the system.

I have this exact same problem - and I can't interpret the response from Ed.
Any other advice?
