I'm trying to use MS word viewer to view read-only files,
but it keeps trying to make a backup copy of the file (the
~... file) and the users don't have write access to the
directory. So what happens is that they can't open the
file because the backup file can't be created. Why does
word viewer do this even though I don't want to edit the
file? Can I get around this somehow?
