MS Word Viewer Navigation Bar

Why does the MS Word Viewer appear NOT to have a navigation bar to allow
navigation of hyperlinks. The viewer allows you to follow hyperlinks to
where thewy point, but NOT return back to the original location ... or at
least I can't see how to turn on such a navigation bar. Please help.
