MSP 2007 Resource Calendar

Does 2007 allow displaying non-working time for resources in the task bar?
2003 extends the task bar, does not indicate why, and does not add days to
the duration column. A 10 day task and 5 vacation days shows 15 days duration
in the task bar & 10 days in the duration column. The upgrade is worth it if
it's fixed.
Thanks

No change noted in Project2007, it is functioning as designed. The task bar
covers all days in which there is work. Days off in the middle of a task
contribute to the length of the bar. Start and Finish dates calculate
correctly respecting calendars.

Please see the definition of "Duration" in the Help system to further
understand why it is different than the difference between the start and
finish dates. Duration is the total span of active working time on a task.
It does not count non-working time or task splits. Further information is
available by selecting the duration column and then mouse over "duration",
select "Help on Duration"
