What would be the best file lormat to use in order to get a doscument that I
need to scan in to create the file then insert it into word? scanning to PDF
creates the smallest file, but will not insert into word. Would aquiring the
image from within word using insert>picture>from scanner or camerea be the
best way to go about doing this? It is a large document, and I am pretty
concerned about file size.Using Word 2002.

Usually a .jpg or .tif file works well. Your scanning
program should give you a choice of formats.
