multiple accounts?

I am wondering if you can manage multiple internet
accounts with outlook? I am switching from outlook
express, and I assumed Outlook would just manage e mail
similarly. I was suprised to find the "Identities" option
is not there...thanks in advance

what version and mode of outlook? see help, about if unsure.

Outlook calls them profiles, not identities but not all versions of outlook
support profiles. Some versions of outlook support multiple accounts, others
do not.

It is Outlook 2000 - version 9.0.0.2711 (if you need me to
be that specific) Please reply again and thanks for the

Help, About should say either Internet Only or Corporate/workgroup. I'm
guessing Internet Only. If I'm right, it's a version that supports sending
from multiple accounts but only supports ones profile.

Corp mode supports multiple profiles, but only one sending account. Given a
choice, Internet mode is preferable.
