Hi,

I am using MS project 2000 and have teams working on a project in
multiple geographies with a different set of holidays for each
geography. Is there any way to choose different non working times for
different set of resources ? ( other than change manually for each
resource)

Shank,
Your setup is quite common in our global economy. You might want to do a
search in this newsgroup for posts essentially identical to yours and
see what the responses were.

One way to organize the different "standard" calendars is to group
resources by locale. Then it is quite easy to select each group and set
the calendar appropriately for their location.

Hi,

Concretely you can do it this way:

Through Tools, Change Working time, New, create the number of base calendars
you need to reflect standard times in each geography (you could call them
"Western Europe", "Middle East" etc.)
Then in the resource sheet view, for each reaource, in the "Calendar"
column, select the desired "standard".
