Multiple users for a single task

I am trying to have a single task be assigned to multiple
users, AND have any of those users mark the task 100%
complete. I manage teams of employees that distribute the
workload between the team, but not each member is
responsible for every project. Currently, if I have a team
of 4 people and one of those does all of the work, they
mark that task 100% complete. However, Project will only
show that task 25% complete. This is a problem. I have
tried creating distribution list, but Project Enterprise
will not accept the list. Can someone give me some advice?

While I can't help with the MSProject question , I can't help but put my
management consultant hat on and ask the question, Is is wise to have four
people accountable for a task?!

"Joint" accountability usually results in "no accountability" or " I thought
he was going to do it..."
